Toy Design Projects & Workshops – As a Design educator for the past 40 odd years, Prof. Sudarshan Khanna has been conducting Design Workshops with institutions and different groups such as teachers,school children, craftspeople, designers and educators, triggering thousands of creative minds to develop innumerable toys and ideas. The workshops have successfully facilitated Design, Heritage, Innovation for Joyful Learning.
His passion for indigenous innovative toys, education and scientific inputs has been part of these interesting workshops. His initiative to share his knowledge through these interactive workshops has been appreciated all over.
Apart from workshops in India, Prof. Sudarshan Khanna has been conducting special programs in countries such as Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, S.Africa and many institutions in Europe and Scandinavia.
Presently, Surabhi Khanna and Prof. Sudarshan Khanna co-conduct these specially designed workshops in India and several countries.

Surabhi Khanna & Prof. Sudarshan Khanna were invited by King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, Thailand in February 2018 to participate in Saan conference – the first international conference on design, innovation and creativity. They also interacted with student and faculty group.

Prof. Sudarshan Khanna & Surabhi Khanna, keynote speakers and design-in-education workshop specialists at the International Conference on Design, Learning, Innovation (DLI) at Aalborg university, Denmark on 2-3 May 2016. The conference aimed at design and technology as a tool for innovation. The audience comprised of researchers, designers and technologists. After the conference the duo also conducted workshops from 4-7 May, with the students of Medialogy course, Aalborg university and later with Pedagogy department, University College, south Aabenraa, Denmark.

Prof. Sudarshan Khanna was a panelist on Imagine – Play & Creative Mediums at the International Play Conference: Perspectives and Practices in Play, 2017 at Bengaluru on 7-8 April. This interesting conference was organized by International Play Association (IPA) and Headstreams at Christ College.
